Chris Early, Vice President of Digital Publishing, Ubisoft: Chris Early joined Ubisoft’s San Francisco office in February 2010 as vice president of digital publishing. Early spearheads Ubisoft’s digital publishing initiatives, where he oversees digital game commerce, operations and player engagement in North, South and Central America territories. Early brings an impressive breadth of experience with prior roles at Microsoft, most recently serving as the general manager for Windows Gaming Technology where he led development efforts designed to extend game experiences across multiple platforms and grow Microsoft's casual and core gaming audiences. Early also served as president and chief operating officer of GameSpy and executive vice president and general manager of Mplayer. Early’s entrepreneurial exploits include founding Corporate Computer Rental and being a ComputerLand franchisee. Early holds a BA in Economics and a BA in International Management from Claremont Men's College.

 

Michael Pachter, Managing Director, Equity Research, Wedbush Securities; providing coverage across the Digital Media sector and Head of Research for the Private Shares Group. He has been recognized as StarMine’s “Top Earnings Estimator” year after year and “Best on the Street” by the Wall Street Journal. Michael brings over 20 years of experience as a financial professional to the Private Shares Group along with extensive knowledge across the social media sector in both public and private companies. Mr. Pachter holds an M.B.A. from the Anderson School at the University of California at Los Angeles, a juris doctor from Pepperdine University, an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, and a bachelor’s in Political Science from California State University, Northridge.

 

Rachel Bondi is the Chief Strategist for IBM WW Cloud Media and Games team responsible for industry solution development for clients such as Disney, Comcast-NBC, Warner, Sony, Hasbro, EA and Activision-Blizzard.  Bondi comes to IBM from her role as Chief of the Mobile Innovation technology department at Creative Artists Agency, the world's leading entertainment, games and sports agency. Bondi supported corporate project teams representing the biggest names in game development, as well as for mobile apps like Stan Lee's Verticus, Jennifer Lopez Dance pad, and Buster Posey's Buster Bash.  Prior to joining CAA, she held senior positions at Microsoft, where she was a first-launch Program Director on xBox Live and U-Verse television, Sanmina-SCI digital product and console manufacturing, and at First American Financial and KPMG heading M&A, GRC, digital forensics and security programs. Rachel began her career at AT&T Global Markets with original social and avatar clients such as Imagination Network, Fujitsu Worlds Away, AT&T Interactive WorldNet and Geosphere with Bell Labs and SUN. With a corporate anthropology background from Japan, Turkey and Africa, Rachel has studied seven languages and holds degrees and certifications from Loyalist, Stanford, Newport Design and Eckerd College.  Rachel sits on the board of the 501(c)3 non-profit Men Matter organization that has been honored as a nominee of the Gates Foundation. She is awarded by the State of California for her work in STEM, especially in how men matter to women and girls in mentoring for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.

 

Michael Goodman, Director, Digital Media Strategies, is an accomplished analyst with nearly 20 years’ experience providing critical market intelligence and strategic direction to executives navigating an increasingly complex, connected world. Michael Goodman provides clients with strategic insight on the evolution of digital media for the Strategy Analytics Digital Media Strategies Service (DMS), which assists companies in adapting to the changes occurring in the distribution, consumption and monetization of video, music, and games. Key areas of research include OTT video, video games, advertising, and digital music.  Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Goodman founded Nexus Research Group, a research and consulting firm focused on the intersection of technology, media, and communications. Prior to that, Goodman was VP, Global Research Operations at Kantar Retail, where he managed retail analysts across multiple practice areas including Food, Drug, Mass, Value Discounters, Home Improvement and Digital. Goodman also, served as Senior Director, Research & Analytics at Mercury Media where he provided strategic vision, planning, and actionable recommendations for all areas of performance-based advertising. Prior to Mercury Media, Goodman spent nine years at the Yankee Group and held several positions at Nielsen Media Research (now known as The Nielsen Company).  Goodman holds a BS in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from Boston University.

 

David Reitman, VP Digital Solutions, North America & Europe, CI&T: David Reitman has over 20 years of experience, as a Video Game, Digital Media, Entertainment & Enterprise Senior Executive leading globally distributed teams; as it relates to Cloud, SaaS, Commerce, Payments, Marketing Distribution Strategies (SEO, Affiliate), Analytics, Digital Distribution, and Platform; helping companies define and properly execute their digital strategies while seamlessly integrating technologies and associated content partners into the business strategies to deliver value and revenue growth. David is currently the VP, Global Head of MESO (Media, Entertainment, Software & Online Services) industries leading a global team with focus on providing digital commerce solutions. Additionally, David has strategic and product innovation responsibility for the digital commerce business for hybris, an SAP company. Also, David provides Board Advisory support to VC-°©‐backed startups as it relates to developing and executing their Commercial Offering, Business Development & Strategy and Investment and currently serves as a Board Advisor to Tangentix and Greenman Gaming. Prior to hybris, David supported Digital River in a Business Development & Strategy/M&A capacity providing leadership for Strategic Alliances, Direct & Indirect Revenue Opportunities, Product Development, and M&A as it relates to their Global SaaS Cloud Commerce and Payments platform. Prior, David was the VP of Business Development at Gaikai, that built and launched their initial Product Offering, as well as, led the Team that worked with all of the Video Game Publishers & Developers, Consumer Electronics companies, MSOs & Carriers, Digital Distribution Partners. Before Gaikai, David was an Executive Leader with Equinix / Switch and Data and AT&T, leading vertically focused Teams with cross-°©‐functional members of sales, product and engineering executives that supported Media & Entertainment companies with technology solutions to support Massively Multiplayer and Social Games, Cloud Infrastructure, Digital Distribution of Media (i.e. Music, Film, Gaming & Software), Streaming Services, Content Distribution Networks and eCommerce. An instrumental figure within the Digital Media & Online Gaming industry, as the Executive Leader whose Teams supported the following Platforms: Disney/ABC, Facebook, Amazon, CBS, CNET, EA (Ultimate Online & Origin), Napster, Netflix, DirecTV, Wikipedia, Microsoft, Google, Real Networks, Blizzard Entertainment (World of WarCraft & BattleNet), Sony (PlayStation Network, EverQuest, EverQuest II, StarWars Galaxies, PlanetSide, & Vanguard), Turbine (Asheron's Call), Microsoft & Microsoft Game Studios (Xbox 360 Live platform), Codemasters, Konami, Onlive Game Services, Gaikai and Big Fish Games. Before joining the Internet technology industry, David was an Executive within the Music Business. He led an artist management firm for over 8 years managing artists on Warner Brothers, Elektra and Sony.
