Michael Blank is a Business Development Executive at leading entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with offices in Los Angeles, New York, London, Nashville, and Beijing.  As part of CAA’s Business Development group, Blank helps create new lines of business for CAA and services clients across the agency in their pursuit of broader initiatives.  He helps guide the agency’s mobile initiatives, primarily focusing on sourcing and managing opportunities for clients in television, film, fashion, lifestyle, music, and sports, among other areas.  Blank also helps identify and manage investment opportunities for CAA Ventures, a venture fund managed by CAA, that invests third party capital in consumer technology businesses with high-growth opportunities, and adds value to these companies by providing access to the CAA eco-system.  Previously, Blank was an Investment Associate at Bridgewater Associates in its Research Analytics department, where he helped develop Bridgewater's understanding of the global economic system and how to convert that understanding into systemized investment strategies.  After Bridgewater, Blank worked with some of the world’s top social media influencers, identifying monetization and partnership opportunities.  Blank joined CAA in 2010. Blank graduated with honors from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics.

 

Hany Nada is co-founder and Managing Partner of GGV Capital. He has worked as a long-term partner with more than 150 companies and is a trusted resource to public and private company CEOs on global market development, customer introductions, and A/IPO guidance across US and Asian markets. Hany led GGV's investments in Tudou (NASDAQ: TUDO; acquired by Youku), athenahealth (NASDAQ: ATHN), Endeca (acquired by Oracle), Glu Mobile (NASDAQ: GLUU), Kintana (acquired by Mercury Interactive), Turbine (acquired by Time Warner) and Xfire (acquired by Viacom). Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for DraftKings, PlayHaven, Vocera Communications (NYSE: VCRA), BandPage, Glu Mobile, and Wild Tangent, and also led the firm's investments in SoundCloud and Houzz. Before entering the venture capital business, Hany spent 10 years on Wall Street as a top-ranked research analyst at Piper Jaffray focusing on Internet software and infrastructure. He a B.S. in economics and a B.A. in political science from the University of Minnesota.

 

Andy Wing is Chairman of the Executive Committee, Board Member and co-Chief Executive Officer of Fuel Industries. Fuel is a digital agency and game studio based in Los Angeles, CA and Ottawa, Canada providing services and products to advertisers as well as creating original entertainment content, including mobile games. In addition, Mr. Wing serves on the boards of Runtriz, the global leader in mobile hospitality technology platforms; Interpret, a market research and advisory services firm specializing in the media and entertainment sector; and GGN Network, an eSports tournament platform company. Mr. Wing is a former partner at global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, having overseen their entertainment practice as President & CEO, Cantor Entertainment, which included The Hollywood Stock Exchange. In this capacity, Andy participated in assisting the Firm secure federal approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for the Cantor Exchange. Previously, Mr. Wing served as President and Chief Executive Officer of VNU’s Nielsen Entertainment. Before joining Nielsen, Mr. Wing spent over twelve years at American Express in key general management, marketing, finance and business development roles.

 

Kwasi Asare, CEO, Fighter Interactive: Kwasi Asare was the New Media Manager at Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Entertainment simultaneously overseeing digital marketing for: Ciroc/Blue Flame, Sean John Fragrance and Bad Boy Entertainment. Throughout Kwasi's storied career, he has led marketing campaigns for A-list artists & brands such as: Jay-Z, Ice Cube, Prince, Pharrell Williams, Wu Tang Clan, LL Cool J, Outkast, Gnarls Barkley, John Legend, Snoop Dogg, Mary J Blige, Ricky Martin, Sony Music and Estee Lauder. Kwasi began his career as an Investment Banker at Citigroup's' Salomon Smith Barney after graduating from The University of Pennsylvania with a degree in International Politics.

 

Jill Braff, General Manager, Ellen Digital Ventures: A pioneer in the digital industry for more than 20 years, Jill Braff serves as General Manager of Ellen Digital Ventures (EDV), a new business initiative created by the Warner Bros. Television Group and Emmy®-winning executive producer/writer/actor/host Ellen DeGeneres. EDV’s mission is to extend DeGeneres’ award-winning television franchise and robust digital business, as well as her social and gaming audiences. As General Manager, Braff supervises the day-to-day activities of EDV, including ellentube (www.ellentube.com) and Heads Up!, overseeing operations and spearheading its growth. Prior to joining EDV, Braff was most recently Executive Vice President, Digital Commerce, for HSN, where she led the transformation of the Top 25 Internet Retailer’s e-commerce, mobile, gaming and social media platforms, and oversaw its $800 million digital business. Braff also served as an Executive in Residence and advisor for UNICEF. Previously, she was CEO of Scrapblog, a social photo business with more than 2.5 million registered users. Braff was also a leader in the early mobile gaming market, recognized for building Glu Mobile’s leadership position as a public mobile game company during her tenure as Senior Vice President, Global Publishing. Braff has held marketing positions at Ancestry.com, The Learning Company/Mattel, Sega, Nintendo of America and Griffin Bacal. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from Colgate University.

 

Chris Younger, Principal, Director of Strategy, Ayzenberg:  Chris Younger offers more than 18 years of experience developing clients that require marketing and advertising support. As a Principal of Ayzenberg Group, Chris’ oversees account management, strategic planning and business development groups in bringing to bear the agency’s advertising disciplines in developing comprehensive integrated campaigns. Prior to joining Ayzenberg, he was with Hamagami/Carroll, Inc. an awarding-winning consumer and corporate brand firm and Creative Solutions Group (CSG), a global consumer marketing agency where he developed and managed campaigns for clients such as Amgen, Disney, Coca-Cola, Lego Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment and Universal Studios. Chris graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications
