Sriraman spearheaded the relaunch of the Tartan brand and increased sales against a declining market. She was named among Home Media Magazine’s 40 Under 40 executives in September 2011. Her previous position was Senior Vice President at Vivendi, Universal Music and Video Distribution¹s filmed entertainment arm and, before that, held positions at Warner Home Video and Universal Home Entertainment.


Monty Sarhan is the Executive Vice President of Programming Acquisitions, Strategy and Enterprises for EPIX, the premium entertainment service that is a joint venture of Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM.  Part of the network’s original launch team, Monty heads up the programming department, oversees acquisitions and scheduling for EPIX’s linear channels and on-demand offerings, and manages the network’s acquisitions, scheduling, operations, and program planning teams. Prior to his current role, Monty was Senior Vice President and Head of Business Affairs and responsible for a wide range of transactions including the network’s distribution and programming deals and key agreements that allowed EPIX to become the first premium network to offer subscribers access on Android devices, Roku, Microsoft Xbox and Sony PLAYSTATION. He also worked on business development and various strategic initiatives. Monty is a graduate of Duke University’s School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University.  He is married and lives with his wife, daughter, and two sons in Manhattan.


Scott L Brown, SVP Global Engineering & Strategic Relations, The Nielsen Company: Scott L. Brown serves as Senior Vice President, Global Communications, Client Insights & Strategic Relations for Nielsen. In this role, Scott is a frequent speaker and sought after visionary for impending changes to the media landscape, the impact of new technology, and for the path of new advertising models. Scott is responsible for client insights and communications, strategic business relationships, and works with media strategy and digital platform development for the company. Scott focuses much of his time on establishing and managing business relationships with advanced technology and new media companies. He is the key company spokesperson for evolving television technologies, advanced metering systems, and new technology development. Scott provides the internal and external company vision and leadership for the new world of digital convergence, connected TV technology, and multi platform measurement, etc. Scott, is a veteran of Nielsen, with roots going back to Advanced Software Systems Design, progressing into Senior Operations Management, and then into his current position with Nielsen. Scott's expertise is grounded in technology, the implications for Nielsen measurement, coupled with a deep client following on what is relevant in the media world. Scott is frequently asked to forecast the future for major advertisers, and media companies. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science and a Masters Degree from Illinois State University.


Tiran Dagan is a partner at IBM GBS and leads its Strategy & Analytics practice for the Media & Entertainment (M&E) Industry since May 2013. Tiran has a rich background in operations, analytics and advertising/marketing. In the earlier part of his career, he worked in healthcare and medical devices ultimately launching the largest independent diagnostic facility in the North East U.S. which was sold to a VC firm in 2001. He subsequently established a boutique creative agency in NYC (digital & print design and advertising) and later joined a consulting firm in DC leading marketing operations consulting for financial services. In 2007 he was recruited by GE into NBC Universal’s internal strategic initiatives & analysis team which reported to the President/COO and worked across the divisions (parks, film, ad sales, digital, studio, cable entertainment, broadcast operations, just to name a few). Tiran’s primary areas of media knowledge are newsroom production workflows, advanced/predictive analytics, omni-channel ad sales and digital strategy. Prior to joining IBM, Tiran was the broadcast & cable sector leader for Ernst & Young’s M&E practice. In his current role he brings IBM’s vast array of research assets, software products and consulting services to the most innovative media companies in the world. Tiran is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, received his MBA from Tel Aviv University and B.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence and Mathematics from State University of NY. Tiran resides in New Jersey with his wife and two sons.


Maria Weaver is SVP and head of sales of Interactive One (iOne), the fastest growing and definitive digital platform for African American and Millennial audiences.  She is responsible for leading iOne's aggressive national growth strategy, having been an integral member of the leadership team that launched the company in 2008 and helping it grow its annual revenue from zero to $25 million, with 2014 being its most profitable year.  She was promoted in 2015 from SVP, East Coast sales and marketing, of a digital network that collectively reaches 29.4 million unique monthly visitors (as of January 2015; up 138 percent from the prior year), with 12 million collective social media followers, and a mostly unduplicated audience that engages with iOne content twice as long as its competitors.  Weaver began working with iOne in a marketing role, after working in traditional marketing at HBO and Showtime, and has successfully become a force in digital marketing.  This includes a strong emphasis on branded content ideation, creation and sales, for clients including Honda, Ford, Nissan, Covergirl, HBO, WeTV, Walmart, P&G and many others.  In addition to leading East Coast - and now National - sales and integrated marketing, she has led all public relations, pro-social initiatives, diversity partnerships, consumer, trade and sales marketing for the company. She has helped define iOne's creative vision, including the launches of several leading online destinations targeting African Americans, Latinos and Millennials.  The company's 80+ online and mobile brands, which primarily focus on social networking, entertainment, music and news, include GlobalGrind (Millennials), HelloBeautiful (Women), News One (Affluent), TheUrbanDaily (Men) and Vida Today (Latino), as well as social networking sites such as BlackPlanet, BlackPlanet RADIO and MiGente. Prior to joining iOne, Weaver was one of the co-founders of Triple Threat Films, which financed and produced films such as, Dirty Laundry and Through The Fire: The Sebastian Telfair Story. Before her film endeavors, she was director of brand development and subscriber marketing at HBO, where she developed and managed the implementation of marketing strategies targeting African American, Latino, 18-24, and LGBT audiences, as well as acquisition marketing for Direct TV. Weaver also worked for Showtime Networks in the marketing department and prior to Showtime she served on the executive management team of Global Telecom Solutions which as the vice president of marketing was instrumental in the company's rapid growth, public offering and sale. She began her career at Rainbow Advertising where she held positions in sales, marketing and design. Weaver has also been recognized for her work and as a leading female African American executive in the industry.  This includes multiple Telly and CTAM Mark Awards, the NAMIC Award of Excellence for African American Brand Advertising Campaign and more.  She also participates in a number of non-profit, community and industry organizations, including as a founding member of the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP), as a member of The Links, Inc. - Greater Hudson Valley Chapter and the Jack & Jill of America - Westchester Chapter.  Additionally, she served on the New York Board of Stand Up for Kids and a mentor for iMentor. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Pace University and a Master of Professional Studies in Design Management from Pratt Institute. Maria lives in Westchester and is a proud mother of two daughters.


David Hutchinson, Executive Vice President, PPI Releasing, Inc., Moderator: A 20 year veteran of TV and interactive entertainment, Dave is a co-founder of PPI Releasing (Program Partners, Inc.), a developer-distributor of high-quality television entertainment.  In addition to program sales, operations and digital asset management, Dave’s role within the organization includes expanding the reach and revenue potential of the company’s programs through various cross-platform and OTT initiatives.  With dozens of shows on cable and in broadcast syndication, including Merv Griffin’s Crosswords, Family Court with Judge Penny, Steven and Chris, The Social and Just for Laughs Gags, PPI programs can also be found on YouTube and Hulu. Previously, Dave was Vice President of Broadband Operations for the digital music and e-commerce company ARTISTdirect, where he also served as Executive in Charge of Production for the firm’s popular “Fan Conference” series, sponsored by AT&T, and featuring such artists as Foo Fighters, No Doubt, Beck, Incubus, K.D Lang and others.   In the early ‘90s Dave co-founded CityInteractive, the profitable new media division of CHUM Television (parent company of Citytv and MuchMusic in Toronto Canada), where he produced live interactive television programs sponsored by Apple Computer, Intel, Motorola and Microsoft.   In the 80’s Dave represented film and television properties, globally, for producer Robert Halmi and later Network Ventures, Inc., where he sold original and off-network television programs in syndication. Dave is a certified project management professional (PMP) and has served as Chairman of the Marketing & Sales Specific Interest Group within PMI (The Project Management Institute).  He has also served on the advisory board for ad:tech, a leading digital marketing conference dedicated to the convergence of media, marketing and technology, and published several articles on marketing operations (B2B Magazine, iMedia Connection).   He lives with his wife and two children in Santa Monica, CA
