With a knack for computers and technology that can be traced back to his childhood, he naturally gravitated to the position. She holds Vassar College women’s soccer records for goals scored, assists and total points. Marta played soccer throughout her 30's on two competitive teams and now spends her free time playing sports with her son and husband. As a philanthropist, Marta has been extremely active in her community since founding a nonprofit in high school, and specifically in the greater Los Angeles community with multiple nonprofit organizations including her current role as an Social Ventures Partner (SVP) Partner and former Board Member. Michele Edelman As Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Michele Edelman is responsible for the overall vision of VUBIQUITY’s Marketing and Corporate Communications-related initiatives. Previous to joining VUBIQUITY, Michele was Vice President, Worldwide Direct to Consumer Marketing in the Home Entertainment Division of Warner Bros. Studios, where she was responsible for all consumer initiatives available through the studio, including the WB Social Enterprise and the Warner Bros. Digital Entertainment Store. Prior to that, as Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, Programming and Acquisitions for Warner Bros. Nicole Smith is the vice president of Brand New Media US, a global digital content and broadcast company with offices in the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore, Germany and the Philippines. Brand New Media produces format TV, digital TV and have both broadcast television and digital television channels that also broadcast across social media, in multiple markets. Prior to this Nicole launched and ran Brand New Media's TV channel in Australia. Having with BNM for almost 11 years where Nicole has also run our sales and marketing teams. Alex Cohen is co-host of the daily public radio show "Take Two" on 89.3 FM KPCC (the nation’s most listened to NPR station). Before joining KPCC, Alex was a host and reporter for NPR's "Day to Day." You may have also heard her on NPR's "Morning Edition" and "All Things Considered" as well as American Public Media's "Marketplace" and "Weekend America." Prior to that, she was the L.A. Bureau Chief for KQED FM in San Francisco. She has won various journalistic awards including the LA Press Club’s Best Radio Anchor prize. As her roller derby alter-ego, Axles of Evil, Cohen made a cameo appearance and served as the trainer and choreographer for the Drew Barrymore derby film "Whip It." She is also the co-author of the book "Down and Derby: The Insider's Guide to Roller Derby."
