In 2005, Lucas produced the major hit film "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", featuring an all-star cast. It was released by 20th Century Fox and grossed over $500 Million dollars in theaters worldwide. Lucas then developed and produced acclaimed films "Street Kings" & "Law Abiding Citizen" - a picture that is widely considered on of the most successful ‘R’ rated thrillers of all time. Now, Lucas’s innovative approach to business, storytelling, and production has drawn him to the unbounded platform of Virtual Reality. Leading Headcase, Lucas will produce the industry’s most innovative Virtual Reality content, as well as develop strategic Headcase client partnerships in Hollywood, advertising and a host of professional industries.

 

Daniel Gregoire, Co-Founder & Director – MATTERvr & Founder & CEO – HALON Entertainment: With nearly 20 years experience in the entertainment industry, Daniel was most recently director of FIRST, The Wright Brothers First Flight VR Experience, director of game cinematics for the award winning mega-hit EVOLVE, VFX Supervisor for Michael Mann and Animatics Director for the Emmy-award winning FOX TV show COSMOS: A SpaceTime Odyssey. In 2015 Daniel co-founded MATTERvr with Steven Holtzman, producer of COSMOS: A SpaceTime Odyssey, for the express purpose of producing episodic narrative story driven content and is currently collaborating with Hollywood’s new-guard of creative talent leaders on excited VR content. One of the pioneers of Previsualization, for over 15 years Daniel has served as the Previs Supervisor and Previs Director for leading directors on some of the most exciting and celebrated projects in the last decade beginning with four years at JAK Films with George Lucas for Star Wars Episode II, III and THX 1138. Under the HALON Entertainment banner, he has lead previs, postvis and finals teams on high profile projects including  War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with Steven Spielberg; The Spiderwick Chronicles with Mark Waters; The Last Airbender with M. Night Shyamalan; John Carter with Andrew Stanton; Cowboys & Aliens with Jon Favreau; World War Z with Marc Forster; Star Trek Into Darkness with JJ Abrams; and the Best Picture Academy-Award winning Birdman with Alejandro González Iñárritu. Additionally, under Daniel’s leadership, HALON Entertainment has worked on numerous commercials and films for such companies as DreamWorks Animation, Paramount, Universal, Apple, AMD, The Mill, Method, NBC and more. Daniel is developing several internal projects for future release. Dan is also a founding member and Treasurer of the Previs Society.
